What Rally7 stores about you, why, who can see it and how to remove it.

What Rally7 stores

  • Your email address, when you sign in with email or add one to your account.
  • Your profile: handle, name, picture and bio.
  • Your Telegram ID and username, when you sign in with Telegram or link it.
  • Your X handle, when you link X.
  • Your Canton party ID, when you add a wallet.
  • What you do in rallies: the quests you hand in, the proof you attach (text, links and images), the reviewers' decisions and notes, your XP and your rewards.
  • Your withdrawals: the amount, the wallet it went to and the ledger reference of the transfer.
  • The communities you follow, your notifications, and the support tickets and partnership requests you send.
  • For each sign-in session, the IP address and the browser it came from.
  • An audit log of actions that matter for money and fairness, such as setting a wallet, asking for a withdrawal or reviewing a submission, with the IP address they came from.

Why it is stored

  • To sign you in and keep your account yours.
  • To run rallies: check quests, let reviewers decide, rank participants and split reward pools.
  • To pay rewards to the wallet you chose and keep an exact record of every movement of funds.
  • To keep rallies fair: spot copied proof and repeated abuse, and settle disputes.
  • To tell you what happened: sign-in codes by email, notifications on the site, and on Telegram when you have turned that on. Rewards paid, withdrawals sent and answers from support also come by email, which you can turn off in your settings.

Who sees what

  • Everyone can see your profile (handle, name, picture, bio, linked X handle, level, XP, rank and the communities where you earned XP) and your place on leaderboards, including the reward a rally paid you.
  • A community's team sees what you hand in to its rallies, together with your profile, your X handle and your Telegram username. Proof images are visible only to you and that team.
  • Platform admins can see accounts, linked accounts, wallets, balances, submissions with their proof, and tickets. They use this to moderate, to answer support and to send payouts.
  • Your teammates, when you join a community's team, see the email address you joined with.

Your email address, your wallet and your balance are never shown publicly.

Some things leave Rally7 because the feature needs them to. Sign-in codes and notification emails travel through our email provider. Messages from the Rally7 bot travel through Telegram. A post you hand in for an X quest is read from X. A withdrawal is a transfer on the Canton ledger, to the party you entered.

Cookies

Rally7 sets one cookie, r7_session, which keeps you signed in. It lasts up to 30 days and ends when you sign out. There are no advertising cookies and no tracking cookies.

Your browser's own storage holds two small things: the invitation code of a link you followed, so the person who invited you gets credit, and, inside Telegram, the token that keeps the Mini App signed in.

How long it is kept, and closing your account

Your data is kept while your account is open. Sign-in codes stop working after 10 minutes and a session that goes unused for 30 days ends.

You can close your account from your settings once your balance is withdrawn. Closing it removes your email, Telegram ID and username, X handle, wallet, name, bio and picture, replaces your handle with a random one and takes you off every leaderboard. It also deletes your sessions, your notifications, the communities you follow, your team memberships and any submission still waiting for review.

What stays is the record other people's results depend on: submissions that were already reviewed, with their proof, the ledger of rewards and withdrawals, the audit log, and the support tickets you sent. These remain attached to an account that no longer carries your name. A support ticket keeps the email address it was sent from.

Your choices

In your settings you can change your profile, unlink X or Telegram, remove your wallet, turn Telegram notifications off and close your account. For anything about your data that you cannot do there yourself, write to Support.
